Why EU Sizes Are Higher Numbers Than US Sizes
EU sizing (Paris point system) increments in steps of ⅔ centimeter. US sizing increments in ⅓ inch steps but starts from a different base point. Because both scales cover the same range of foot lengths, EU numbers land consistently higher — US men's plus approximately 33 gives the rough EU equivalent for men, and US women's plus approximately 30.5 for women.
